Geoengineering

Topic

Geoengineering, also known as climate engineering or climate intervention, refers to deliberate, large-scale interventions in the Earth's climate system intended to counteract human-caused climate change. It generally encompasses two broad categories: carbon dioxide removal (CDR), which extracts greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, and solar radiation modification (SRM), which aims to reflect a portion of the sun's energy back into space.
