The Copenhagen interpretation is a collection of views about the meaning of quantum mechanics, stemming from the work of Niels Bohr, Werner Heisenberg, Max Born, and others. It posits that physical systems do not have definite properties prior to being measured, and quantum mechanics can only predict the probabilities of the outcomes of measurements. This framework remains one of the most commonly taught and historically significant interpretations of quantum theory.
