Clitoral adhesions occur when the clitoral prepuce (hood) adheres to the clitoral glans, preventing the hood from retracting fully to expose the glans. This condition can trap cellular debris, leading to inflammation, pain, and sexual dysfunction. It is often associated with chronic inflammatory skin conditions such as lichen sclerosus or poor local hygiene.
