Charles Allen Lechmere was a Victorian-era delivery driver for Pickfords who is widely known as a key witness and a modern suspect in the Jack the Ripper murders. He was the first person to discover the body of Mary Ann Nichols, the Ripper's first canonical victim, in Whitechapel in 1888.
