Ceuta is an autonomous city of Spain located on the North African coast. Bordered by Morocco, it lies along the boundary between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of Spain's two permanently inhabited Spanish territories in mainland Africa, alongside Melilla.
