Cascading loops, commonly referred to as cascade control, is an advanced control system architecture where the output of a primary (outer) controller is used to determine the setpoint of a secondary (inner) controller. This nested feedback loop configuration allows the system to respond rapidly to disturbances in the inner loop before they can significantly affect the primary process variable. It is widely used in industrial automation and process control to improve stability and dynamic performance.
