Caetlin Benson-Allott is a professor of English and Film and Media Studies at Georgetown University, where she directs the Film and Media Studies program. Her scholarship focuses on film and television history, spectatorship, home video technologies, queer film cultures, and horror, and she is the author of books including Remote Control and Killer Tapes and Shattered Screens.
