A bucket list is a collection of achievements, experiences, or goals that a person hopes to accomplish or experience during their lifetime, before they "kick the bucket" (die). The term was coined in 1999 by screenwriter Justin Zackham and subsequently popularized worldwide by the 2007 comedy-drama film "The Bucket List".
