Borneo is the third-largest island in the world, located at the geographic center of Maritime Southeast Asia. It is politically divided among three countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. The island is famous for its ancient, biodiverse rainforests, which are home to unique wildlife such as the Bornean orangutan.
