Bill W. (William Griffith Wilson, 1895–1971) was an American co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and a principal architect of its Twelve-Step program for recovery from alcoholism. He is commonly identified in AA contexts by the initialed pseudonym “Bill W.”
