Avalanche
Topic
An avalanche is a rapid flow of snow down a slope, such as a hill or mountain. They can be triggered spontaneously by factors like increased precipitation or snowpack weakening, as well as by external forces such as human activity, animals, and earthquakes. Large avalanches are primarily composed of flowing snow and air, but they have the capability to capture and move ice, rocks, and trees.
