Animal Kingdom
Topic
The animal kingdom, scientifically known as Animalia or Metazoa, is a major biological group comprising multicellular, eukaryotic organisms. With few exceptions, animals consume organic material, breathe oxygen, are able to move, and reproduce sexually, developing from a blastula during embryonic development. Over 1.5 million living animal species have been described, representing a diverse clade that arose from a single common ancestor.
