Andrea Gilmore-Bykovskyi, PhD, RN, is an associate professor in the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Her research focuses on dementia care, communication, and lucidity—the unexpected return of cognitive abilities in people living with dementia.
