Amiga is a family of personal computers originally produced by Commodore from 1985 until the company's bankruptcy in 1994, with later production by other companies. The systems used custom hardware for accelerated graphics and sound and ran AmigaOS, supporting home computing, gaming, multimedia, and creative applications.
