Adams (originally founded by Thomas Adams and later merged into the American Chicle Company) was a pioneering American chewing gum manufacturer. The company popularized chicle-based chewing gum and introduced iconic brands such as Chiclets, Black Jack, and Dentynes. Over the years, the brand and its assets were acquired by Warner-Lambert, Pfizer, Cadbury, and eventually Mondelez International.
