Abrahangs
Topic
Abrahangs are a low-intensity, long-duration finger strength training protocol used by rock climbers to build tendon and grip strength. Popularized by Swedish climber Emil Abrahamsson and later validated in scientific literature, the routine typically involves performing light, submaximal isometric hangs on a hangboard for a total of 10 minutes twice daily. This method offers a gentler alternative to traditional high-load maximum hangs, making it highly effective for tendon rehabilitation and supplementary finger conditioning.
