Work

by Philip K. Shiu, Gabriella R. Sterne, Nico Spiller, Romain Franconville · 2024

This paper presents a leaky integrate-and-fire computational model of the entire adult Drosophila melanogaster brain, built using its complete connectome of over 125,000 neurons and 50 million synaptic connections. The model successfully simulates and predicts neural responses and motor outputs involved in complex behaviors like feeding and grooming.
