The 2015 Chicago Cubs season was the 144th season for the franchise, the 140th in the National League, and the 100th at Wrigley Field. Managed by Joe Maddon in his first year with the team, the Cubs finished the regular season with a 97–65 record to secure a wild card berth. They advanced to the National League Championship Series before being swept by the New York Mets.
