The brief

The hosts open on Russia’s escalating war in Ukraine, where attacks on critical infrastructure and depleted Ukrainian air defenses sharpen fears of a dangerous next step.

Reports that Kremlin hardliners may consider tactical nuclear weapons frame the central tension: whether pressure on Russia is narrowing its remaining escalation options.

Journalist Juan David Rojas discusses allegations of a covert CIA campaign targeting Mexican cartel operatives and officials, and whether U.S. policy seeks leverage over Mexico’s government.

Ben Schreckinger turns to UFO disclosure, weighing David Grusch, recovered-craft claims, classified programs, New Jersey drone sightings, and emerging scientific research.

The episode’s through line is uncertainty around hidden power: nuclear threats, intelligence operations, and UAP stories that may reveal either non-human phenomena or human technology.
